- Game Theoretic approaches in communication networks: Game theory deals with strategic behavior of decision making agents which compete and cooperate for limited resources. This description of game theory suits very much the situation in modern telecommunication networks where users, routers and servers often cooperate and compete for networking and computing resources. Game theoretic approaches have been applied in resource allocation algorithms in wired networks. We will explore ist applications in wireless networks, and try to formulate an game theoretic approach which may improve the mobility protocols. Ahmet Toker
- Mobility management in mixed IPv4-IPv6 environments: Survey of terminal mobility approaches for mobility between IPv4 and IPv6 networks. Frank Steuer
- User perception as base for network selection: Parameterization of user perceived application usability parameters (voice quality, responsiveness of interactive net based applications, …). Frank Steuer
- Autonomic Mobility: Mobility management in heterogeneous network environments, QoS handover optimization for heterogeneous networks. Thomas Kaschwig
- Hybrid Routing in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks: Position-based routing algorithms (survey, analysis, comparison), reactive topology-aware routing algorithms. Thomas Geithner
- Smart Multimedia Telephony System: IMS and IPTV: A Case Study, Presence and IPTV: A Comprehensive Analysis and Survey. Stefan Marx
